Butter Chicken.

Delicious, simple and quick recipe for making butter chicken with GOOD FOOD FOR GOOD Fresh Simmer Sauce. For a change, you will spend more time cooking the rice than cooking the butter chicken!

Servings: 2-3
Cook Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  1. Boneless, skinless chicken thighs 0.75 lbs (cubed)
  2. GOOD FOOD FOR GOOD Butter Chicken Fresh Simmer Sauce – 1 jar (250ml)
  3. Cooking oil – 1 tsp
  4. Cooking oil – 1 tsp
  5. Water – 1/4 cup

Steps:

  1. Stir fry chicken in oil on medium heat till it turns white on all sides but not fully cooked
  2. Add the sauce and water, cover and cook on medium heat for 3 minutes
  3. Uncover and cook on medium heat for 3 minutes
  4. Serve on warm rice or with naan.

Chef’s Tip: To add more flavour to chicken, marinate it overnight in this easy marinade:

  • 1 tbsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp grated garlic
  • 2 tbsp lime/lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil
  • Optional: Add any other spices that you like, I like adding some cayenne and fenugreek leaves.
