Just like Butter Chicken Chana Masala is a very popular dish in Indian restaurants. It makes for a great side that is rich in protein and fibre. So, next time skip the take out line and make chana masala in the comfort of your home in under 10 minutes using this simple recipe and only 4 ingredients.
- 1 jar (250 ml) of GOOD FOOD FOR GOOD Tikka Masala Sauce
- 2 cups Cooked chickpeas (drain and rinse if using canned chickpeas)
- 1/2 cup Water
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- Add all the ingredients to a pot and cook for 10 minutes on medium heat. Stir occasionally to ensure its not sticking to the bottom.
- Garnish with cilantro and lime.
Chef’s Tip: You can also add Spinach, Kale, Fenugreek leaves or your favourite root vegetable to this dish.
