Makes 8-10 hashbrowns
Ingredients
- 3 russet potatoes
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp salt
- Avocado or olive oil for frying
Directions
- “Par boil” your potatoes. This means to partially cook them, which will take about 8 minutes.
- Allow your partially cooked potatoes to cool down, and then grate them into a medium sized bowl.
- Add your egg and seasonings to the potatoes and mix thoroughly
- Shape your hashbrowns onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and freeze them for at least 30 minutes (or until you’re ready to eat them!)
- Pan fry on medium heat with avocado or olive oil until you’ve achieved your desired level of crisp!
- Pair with the Good Food For Good original ketchup, or spicy!
