Level up your Lentils with this vegan spinach (palak) daal masala recipe. Handful of ingredients and Ready in under 30 minutes, this recipe will become a family favourite in no time.
Ingredients:
1 cup Red lentil – rinsed and soaked for 10 minutes (soak for longer if you have time. Rinse thoroughly after soaking)
1 cup frozen chopped spinach
1/2 Jar Good Food For Good Tikka Masala Sauce 2 cups water 1 ⁄8 cup finely chopped fresh cilantro ½ Tsp salt Juice of ½ lemon Handful of chopped cilantro for garnish
Method:
Combine rinsed lentils, spinach, Good Food For Good Tikka Masala Sauce, water and salt in Insta pot. Cover and pressure cook for one minute, release the steam after 10 minutes. (If you don’t have Insta Pot, you can cook on stove top with 2.5 cups of water for 10-15 minutes or till lentils are soft)
Squeeze the juice of lemon, garnish with cilantro and serve with warm basmati rice and salad.
